This tool reports key events that reach the page. A highlighted key shows that the browser received an event; it does not certify the switch, cable, battery, or every possible key combination. Clicking an on-screen key demonstrates the interface and is not a physical keyboard test.
Function layers, browser permissions, accessibility options, and operating-system commands can prevent events from reaching a website. A remote session adds another place where input can be intercepted. Do not enter a password to test typing; use sample text.
